Fire-danger freezer company states sorry

THE small business powering the fridge freezers at the centre of a fire possibility warning has apologised to potential customers who can't get due to on phone lines.

As reported in the Chronicle yesterday, there have been four fires involving BEKO appliances within just the Tyne and Put on spot. Half a million householders have been urged to take a look at their appliance.

A statement from BEKO says: "Due to the fact the situation of the fridge freezer grew to become significant profile, we have increased our simply call centre ability by 20 periods and have committed added employees to respond to email inquiries. We will have three phone centres operating on Saturday and Sunday."
